Channahon

• St. Anne Catholic Church in Channahon has canceled religious education classes scheduled for this evening due to inclement weather.

Joliet

• Joliet Junior College has closed all campuses and centers beginning at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

SPORTS

Coal City

• Coal City High School canceled its varsity and junior varsity wrestling matches against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, which were scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 12, due to inclement weather.

Gardner

• Gardner-South Wilmington High School canceled its varsity and junior varsity girls basketball against Illinois Lutheran, which was scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 12, due to inclement weather.

Minooka

• Minooka High School canceled its varsity wrestling match against Oswego East, which was scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 12, due to inclement weather.

• Minooka High School canceled its boys bowling match against Lincoln-Way West and its girls bowling match against Oswego East, which were scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 12, due to inclement weather.

Morris

• Morris High School canceled its swimming match against Pontiac, which was scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 12, due to inclement weather.

Seneca

• Seneca High School canceled its wrestling match against St.Bede, which was scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 12, due to inclement weather.
