This week, Immaculate Conception School in Morris is celebrating Catholic Schools Week. The following was written by I.C.S. eighth grader Anne Enright and is being published in the Morris Daily Herald Voice of the People section with the permission of both Anne and her parents.
To the Editor,
Catholic Schools Week is very important at Immaculate Conception School. At I.C.S. we all come together as a family.
My faith is very important to me, and at I.C.S. we learn about our faith and practice it. We do many service hours to show we are willing to serve God. I love going to Mass every Friday and coming together as a school.
The academics are very important. We strive to achieve a high standard in order to make our parents, teachers, and community proud. All of the students love to learn new things in each subject. We have great teachers who support and teach us the right path of life.
Immaculate Conception teaches us to give back and make the right choices. I am very blessed to attend a wonderful school and celebrate Catholic Schools week.
