Park District plans Easter egg hunts

CHANNAHON — The Channahon Park District is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 31 at 10:30 a.m. sharp in Community Park, which is located on McClintock Road, one mile east of I-55.

Children of all ages are invited to attend this free community event where 10,000 eggs will out for the hunt. Children should bring their own basket to collect the eggs and will be separated into age groups. The event is sponsored by Channahon Family Dentistry.

The Channahon Park District will also host an egg hunt just for dogs. Five hundred plastic eggs filled with treats suitable for pooches will be hidden in Community Park on Saturday, March 31 at 9:30 a.m. One owner will be able to help each dog gather their eggs. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Feel free to dress up your pup to celebrate the day at this free event. You are asked to not bring aggressive dogs.
