Grundy County deputies arrested a Diamond woman for disorderly conduct after she allegedly yelled at her neighbors and their children.
At about 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to Grundy County Sheriff’s Department records, a deputy responded to the 2400 block of E. Stellon Street for a neighbor complaint.
There, a man and a woman accused their neighbor, Susan D. Schlykov, 42, of Diamond, of “walking around and telling the neighborhood that (the man) was a rapist.”
They were in their backyard playing with children when Schlykov allegedly approached them and told the man he’d better watch his back because she “has a 350-pound boyfriend.”
She next allegedly started yelling at the kids that the man is a rapist and the woman should watch her children.
The man signed the disorderly conduct complaint, but deputies were unable to serve the complaint until about 11:20 p.m., despite two earlier efforts to meet with Schlykov at her home in the 200 block of Calkey Street.
At one earlier instance, a deputy was at the residence and heard no response. Schlykov allegedly called dispatch at the same time, claiming she was not home, but the deputy reported hearing her talking on the phone inside the home.
Schlykov was held on $120 bond at the Grundy County jail.
