Pianist to perform Oct. 25 at Timbers of Shorewood

‘Mr. Showman’ to entertain public with a variety of music

SHOREWOOD, Ill. — Classical pianist Floyd Andrew will perform for residents and the public at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Grand Ballroom at The Timbers of Shorewood retirement community, 1100 N. River Road.

Andrew has been playing the piano for over 35 years. He combines his classical music training with a unique style that captures the hearts of his audience. Known as “Mr. Showman,” Andrew performs standards, including Broadway show tunes, movie theme songs, nostalgic classics and music from times gone by with a perfected art form of glitter, glamour and a warm-hearted smile.

He has performed across the United States and Canada including at the Special Olympics and the Toronto Winter Fest. Andrew holds a Licentiate from Trinity College of Music in London, England.
