Grundy County to host E-Waste recycling event at Seneca Police Dept.

SENECA — Grundy County will host an E-Waste Collection event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Seneca Police Department, 340 North Cash Street, Seneca.

This event is open to both residents and businesses. 

Rain or shine, this event will take place and staff will be present to transfer all of used electronics from vehicles. The following items will be accepted at the event:

Acceptable Electronics:  Televisions, computers and accessories, monitors, printers, printer Cartridges, laptops and laptop accessories, hard drives, power cables, networking equipment, fax machines, copiers, cell phones and phones, CD players, DVD/VHS video players, electronic games, UPSs, MP3s and PSPs. 

To date the county has collected 119,086 pounds of electronics from events throughout the county. The county thanks its residents in advance for coming and making this a successful event.
