(MCT) — BLOOMINGTON — Autopsy results of an Ohio man indicate he died of multiple injuries of the head and chest following an accident Tuesday morning on the shoulder of Interstate 55/74 near Market Street.

McLean County Coroner Beth Kimmerling said forensic toxicology tests have been ordered for Gregory B. Malin, 53, of Shaker Heights, Ohio. The Illinois State Police and McLean County Coroner’s Office will continue to investigate the incident, she said.

Malin was northbound on I-55 near milepost 160 shortly before noon when his pickup truck veered to the inside shoulder of the roadway, according to the coroner’s office. His truck struck the rear of an Illinois Department of Transportation stationary dump truck.

Two IDOT employees were not injured, state police said.
