Morris police are investigating a residential burglary that was reported Wednesday afternoon.
Deputy Chief Harvey Van Cleave of the Morris Police Department said the incident was reported in the 700 block of E. Jefferson Street Wednesday, Oct. 31 at about 4:40 p.m.
There, a person reported to police that an apartment was left unsecured and an unidentified subject forced their way into a locked bedroom, but nothing was taken. Another person who lives in the apartment told police their unspecified video gaming device and cash was taken.
