Mrs. Marjorie L. Winters, 79, of Morris, and formerly of Dana, Ill., passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center with her loving daughter by her side.

A graduate of Toluca High School, Marjorie married Don Winters on March 14, 1952. Together, they farmed in the Dana area, where Don was also a highway commissioner. He preceded her in death in 1999.

She will fondly be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She possessed a strong work ethic, and in her free time, enjoyed arranging flowers.

Services for Marjorie will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow at Dana Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Humane Society would be appreciated.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, until the time of services at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, Morris.

Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. U.S. 6 at Deerpath Dr., Morris, is in charge of arrangement. For more information, call (815) 942-5040 or visit the website
