Marge Nolte

Mrs. Raymond (Marge) Nolte, 90, of Morris, Ill., passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side Monday evening, Nov. 5, 2012, in Morris Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

Born Feb. 6, 1922, on the family farm in Seward Township, Kendall County, IIl., she was the daughter of Frederick and Esther Anderson Larson. She received her education in the Minooka schools and graduated from Minooka High School with the Class of 1938.

Marge married Raymond A. Nolte on Nov. 28, 1942, in Palmyra, Mo.

She was employed with Morris Paper Mill for 11 ½ years and then was employed with Saratoga Laundromat. She was a member of the Grundy County Rod & Gun Club.

Surviving is her son, Terry (Marcia) Nolte of California; five grandchildren, Brian and his wife Leslie Nolte, and Amy Nolte all of Morris, and Jeff, Chad and Jason Nolte in California; four great-grandchildren, Trevor and Ashton Nolte and Hunter and Rebecca Nolte; a sister-in-law, Velda Larson of Plainfield, Ill., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, on June 23, 2000; and one brother, Harvey Larson.

Private graveside services with Pastor Carlos Garcia of the Minooka Bible Church officiating  will be conducted at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery. Cremation rites were accorded with Schultz Crematory in Streator, Ill.

Preferred form of remembrance would be memorial gifts in Marge’s memory directed to Activity Department of Morris Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center or the Morris Volunteer Fire Department.
