Gordon E. Ferguson Sr.

Mr. Gordon E. Ferguson passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on
Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at his residence in Morris.

Born in Plattville, Ill., the son of the late Glen and Mae Ferguson, Gordon was a beloved husband of 61 years to Romell (Sparks) Ferguson. He was also the loving Father of Pamela Karl, Gordon (Missy Felker) Ferguson Jr., Mike (Judy) Ferguson, Terry (Renae) Ferguson and Tim (Paula Marr) Ferguson; the proud grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 15; the dear brother of Grace Duray; the loving uncle of numerous nieces and
nephews; and fond cousin to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Mark Ferguson; and a sister, Elma Waller.

Gordon enjoyed tractor shows and was an active member of Central States Threshermen's Reunion, as well as countless other groups and organizations.

Services for Gordon E. Ferguson Sr. will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at The Maple Funeral Home, 24300 W. Ford Road, Channahon. Interment will be in Seward Mound Cemetery, Minooka.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts to Grundy Community Volunteer Hospice.
