Morris woman faces multiple charges for driving under influence

Morris police arrested Leslie J. Sutton, 28, for driving under the influence of alcohol at 300 E. Washington Street, Morris, Thursday, Nov. 8.

She was stopped following a complaint of an intoxicated driver traveling on Division Street, and after an officer observed a lane violation.

According to the Morris Police Department report, she allegedly appeared intoxicated and smelled of alcohol, and failed field sobriety tests.

Sutton was additionally cited for improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving under the influence over .08 percent.

She was taken to Morris Police Department, where she posted $300 and released from custody.
