Morris Police

Morris police arrested Michael J. Kelly, 43, for driving with a suspended, revoked driver’s license at 100 W. Main Street, Morris, Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Morris police arrested Hunter W. Haas, 21, for warrants for failure to register as a sex offender and failure to appear for criminal sexual abuse at 318 Maple Drive, Morris, Wednesday, Nov. 14. He was held at the Grundy County jail on $3,500 bond altogether.

Morris police cited Edith A. Harder, 42, for no driver’s license at 1100 S. Edgewater Drive, Morris, Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Morris police cited Richard A. Kirby, 40, for failure to notify Secretary of State of an address change in the 1200 block of N. Division Street, Morris, Thursday, Nov. 15.

Byron S. Paszek, 37, of Morris, was arrested by Morris police for unlawful visitation interference in the 200 block of E. Chapin Street, Morris, Wednesday, Nov. 14. He was released on a notice to appear.

A Morris resident reported the theft of a ladder at his home Thursday, Nov. 15. According to the Morris Police Department report, the man reported at about 9:50 p.m. that an aluminum ladder valued at about $150 was taken from his property in the 100 block of E. Jefferson Street. The man said he last saw the ladder on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Anyone with information should call (815) 942-2131.

George E. Wicks Jr., 21, of Minooka, was arrested by Morris police for criminal trespass to a residence and possession of drug equipment in the 200 block of Pleasant Street, Morris Nov. 20. He was taken to jail, where he was held on $150 bond.
