Strands of garland reported stolen from Morris residence

A Morris man reported the theft of two strands of garland from his property Sunday afternoon, according to Morris Police Department reports.

According to the police report, at about 1:05 p.m. Sunday, an officer responded to the 1500 block of Carol Anne Drive in Morris to a reported theft.

The officer spoke with the homeowner, who said that a wooden fence on his property line had two six-foot pieces of garland wrapped around a fence post.

He said sometime the prior evening or Sunday, someone took the garland strands by removing the end post.
