Earl E. Enerson

MARSEILLES, Ill. — Mr. Earl E. Enerson, 81, of Aurora, Ill., passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home, 1009 E. Bluff St., Marseilles, with the Rev. Duane Kaufman ­officiating.  Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial was in Galloway Cemetery.

Born June 25, 1931, in Morris, Ill., to Andrew and Lillian (Koncher) Enerson, Earl married Arlene Bock of Marseilles in 1953.

Having served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, Mr. Enerson was employed by Oberweis Dairy until his retirement in 1994. Earl was a member of the Turner’s Club, the Tiger Club and the Luxembourg Club in Aurora.

Earl is survived by his wife, Arlene; one daughter, Angie (James) Smithey of New Albany, Miss.; two sons, Jamie (Jenny) and Kim, both of Aurora; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, William (Pat) Enerson of Morris and Andrew (Lynette) Enerson of Palm Bay, Fla.

He was preceded in death by one son, Terry; one sister; and two brothers.
