CHANNAHON — The second annual Howl for the Parks, a fundraising event held by the People For Channahon Parks Foundation, is an evening of unique entertainment and fun as two piano players go head to head, nonstop with the crowd.
The event will include food from Heroes West Sports Grill, drink, silent and live auctions and other entertainment will round out this fabulous evening.
The evening will also be highlighted by the presentation of the ExxonMobil Community Philanthropic Award to John and Joanne Carnagio. This award recognizes individuals and businesses who donate their time, talents and treasures to improve the quality of life for their neighbors.
Howl for the Parks is Saturday, Jan. 26 at the beautiful Four Rivers Environmental Education Center in Channahon. The evening begins at 6 p.m. and lasts until 11 p.m.
Registration is only $60 per person and includes bistro style buffet dinner, music and two complimentary drink tickets. Tickets must be purchased in advance at Arrowhead Community Center (24856 West Eames Street, Channahon) or from any Foundation board member. The 2012 event sold out, so don’t delay.
Founded in 2009, People For Channahon Parks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization formed with the assistance of the Channahon Park District.
