Sue Heimer will serve as keynote speaker during Retreat to the “Rock.”

UTICA, Ill. — This year’s Retreat to the “Rock” Christian ladies retreat will be held Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9, at Starved Rock Lodge near Utica, Ill.

The topic this year is “Christ, our Hiding Place,” and will feature Sue Heimer as the keynote speaker. Special music will be presented by Rachel West Kramer, who is back by popular demand from last year.

Workshop topics this year are “The Friend I Want to Be,” “The Power of Praise,” and “Invisible” (which refers to often feeling ignored by others.) Ministry, delicious food, and fellowship with other ladies make this a wonderful time for women of all faiths to relax and make friends in the beauty of Starved Rock.

Ladies may attend all or just portions of the retreat. Rooms are available at Starved Rock Lodge for those wanting to spend the night.

Pricing and registration information is available at or by calling (815) 343-4695 or (815) 830-4399.

A block of rooms has been set aside, so please do not call Starved Rock Lodge, but call one of the above numbers.
