MINOOKA — There is still time to register your business for the 2013 Chamber Family Fest.

The Grundy County Chamber of Commerce will host the Family Fest 2013 on Saturday, Feb. 16, at Minooka Community High School’s Central Campus.

Family Fest provides an opportunity for all area businesses to get together in one location, and in a short period of time, promote their goods and services to a large number of prospective customers.

Attendees will view displays, visit with business representatives and pick up literature that they take home to read at a later date. Children will be able to participate in a variety of ’”hands-on” activities.

The event will offer a pancake breakfast hosted by 5 Star Cheer Academy. Though there will be a nominal charge for the breakfast — the rest of the event is free for attendees.

Local police, fire and rescue staff will be on-site to describe their services and answer any questions.

Families will be able to find information on youth organizations, businesses featuring services and products for families, local organizations, and much more.

Those attending will want to watch the Activities and Demonstration Stage, which will feature dance groups, cheer organizations, local talents, and fitness and safety demonstrations throughout the day.

Businesses interested in participating in the event should contact the Chamber for pricing. Sponsorships are also available and are a great way to increase awareness of your business while supporting a local event.

Call the chamber at (815) 521-9999 or email for details on how to register.
