Snyder earns bachelor’s, associate’s degrees

Sarah Snyder graduated from Governor’s State University with a bachelor’s degree in English and from Joliet Junior College with an associate’s degree.

Throughout her college career, she earned the privilege to be on the dean’s list.

At this time she is working at the Morris Library, but her dream is to be an author.

Sarah Snyder is the daughter of Curt and Barb Snyder.

Burling named to SIUE’s Dean’s list

Kevin Burling was recognized by Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville for his academic efforts during the fall 2012 semester, earning a place on the Dean’s list.

Burling, son of Ron and Cathy Burling, had a grade-point average of 3.5. He is a pre-pharmacy major.

Burling is also a member of the chemistry club and the Pre-Pharmacy Association. He is a member of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity. He graduated from Morris Community High School in May 2012.

Delgado named to Aurora’s Dean’s list

Diana Delgado of Morris has been named to the Dean’s list with honors at Aurora University for the fall 2012 semester.

Delgado had a grade-point average of 3.75 for the semester. She is majoring in criminal justice. She is the daughter of Manuel and Josefina Delgado of Morris.
