DOWNS, Ill.  — Mr. Timothy Scott Williford, 31, of Downs, Ill., and formerly of Coal City, Ill., passed away suddenly, Sunday, March 3, 2013, at his home.

Born Jan. 11, 1982, in Benton, Ill., he was a graduate of Gardner-South Wilmington High School with the Class of 2000.

Tim was currently employed with Exelon and was working at the Clinton Station.  He enjoyed watching the Blackhawks, playing pool, golfing, and taking his son to the park.

Surviving are his wife, the former Kristin Tea, whom he married May 26, 2007, in Coal City; his mother and step-father, Susan (Martin) Devine of Braidwood, Ill.; his father and step-mother, Jerry (Lorri) Williford of Benton, Ill.; his grandmother, Norma Hood of DuQuoin, Ill.; two half sisters, Alyx and Samantha Williford of Benton; an aunt, Bobbi (Kevin) Glenn of Fostoria, Ohio; cousins Dan (Megan) Glen of Florida and Christina Glenn of Illinois, and Logan and Jakob Glenn and Corey and Caitlyn Glenn; a sister-in-law, Lindsay Middleton of Marseilles, Ill.; and a niece and a nephew, Kaylin and Logan Middleton of Marseilles.

Funeral services will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes Ltd. & Crematory, Braidwood Chapel, 401 E. Main St., Braidwood, at 11 a.m. Friday, March 8. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Braidwood.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his son’s name would be appreciated.
