MARSEILLES, Ill. — Mrs. Thelma L. Robertson, 87, of Marseilles, Ill., and formerly of Manhattan, Ill., passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, at Ottawa Pavilion.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home, 1009 E. Bluff St., Marseilles. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Carolyn Lukasick of the Marseilles United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.
Born June 6, 1925, in Manhattan, she was a daughter to Oscar and Elda (Mundt) Reed. In 1942, she married Eugene Robertson of Joliet, who preceded her in death in 2000.
A member of the Marseilles United Methodist Church, she was employed by the Manhattan Post Office until her retirement in 1979. Then she and her husband moved to Benton, Ill., and, in 1993, they moved to Marseilles.
Thelma is survived by one daughter, Sally (Bill) Skridulis of Streator, Ill.; one son, Gene (Gail) Robertson of Morris; two grandsons, Shawn Robertson and Michael (Jill) Skridulis; and one great-grandson, Seth Robertson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son; and one sister, Ruth Fisher. Memorials may be directed to the Marseilles Nursing Service, Marseilles United Methodist Church or Ottawa Pavilion.
