Mrs. Donna “Michele” (Kopczick) Cheshareck, 64, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, March 4, 2013, in Goodyear, Ariz.

Born Dec. 18, 1948, in Morris, Ill., she was the loving daughter of Phyllis Brown and the late William M. Kopczick.

Michele was her family’s “rock” and “keeper of the flock.” Her glass was always “half full” and you could always count on seeing a smile on her face. She saw the good in everyone she met; had the biggest, most forgiving heart; and was a “second mom” to her children’s friends, her brother and sisters, and every child that just needed a hug. Her passions in her life were her family, baking, and antiques.

Michele married the love of her life, Robert Cheshareck, on Dec. 23, 1965. They lived much of their early married life in Morris and Dwight, Ill., before moving to Kansas, Colorado, and, finally, living the last year in Goodyear, Ariz., to be close to her children.

Michele is survived by her mother, Phyllis Brown of Morris; her loving husband of 47 years, Robert Cheshareck of Goodyear, Ariz.; three sons, Christopher Cheshareck of Houston, Texas, Paul “Rick” (Amy) Cheshareck of Virginia, and Todd (Crystal) Cheshareck of Goodyear, Ariz.; one daughter, Lisa (Mark) Cheshareck Brungardt of Goodyear, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Jared Price, Brandon Brungardt, Isaac and Cory Cheshareck, and Dustin, Jeremy and Katie Sullivan.

Michele is also survived by one brother, Raymond (Skip) Kopczick of Port Angelos, Wash.; three sisters, Denise Ward of Energy, Ill., Cary (Milo) Goehring of Las Vegas, Nev., and Tina Barr of Morris; a brother-in-law, Paul Cheshareck; three sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen (Skip) Hildy, Barbie Cheshareck, and Chris Seng, all of Morris, Ill.; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; her father, William Kopczick; stepmom Rhetta Kopczick; and brother-in-law David Cheshareck.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
