Retiring MDDP director recognized

Burke served many years on board, still works with MDDP on Gus Macker

During the business portion of the Morris Downtown Development Partnership’s annual meeting on Tuesday, March 12, Gerry Burke was recognized as a retiring MDDP director.

Burke was a director for several years and still remains active with the MDDP, serving on the Gus Macker Organizing Committee. Held at Chapin’s Restaurant in downtown Morris, the annual meeting allowed attendees to enjoy visiting with other members and the MDDP’s Board of Directors. Additionally, there was the opportunity to learn more about the projects and events of the organization while viewing committee displays.

The mission of the Morris Downtown Development Partnership, Inc. is to preserve, enhance and promote downtown Morris.
