COMMUNITY BRIEFS: 5Essentials Survey deadline extended

Parents of Morris Community High School students still have time to fill out the 5Essentials Survey.

The deadline for this important survey has been extended from the end of March to April 12.

The 5Essentials Survey is a 10-minute research-based survey to help identify strengths and weaknesses in a school’s climate and learning conditions.

E-Waste will be taken for recycling April 6

On Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Grundy County will host an E-Waste collection event at the Seneca Police Department, 340 North Cash St. Seneca. This event is open to both residents and businesses.

Rain or shine, this event will take place. Volunteers will be there to transfer all of your used electronics from your vehicle.

Among the items accepted at the event will be televisions, computers and accessories, monitors, printers, printer cartridges, laptops and laptop accessories, hard drives, power cables, networking equipment, fax machines, copiers, cell phones, CD players, and DVD/VHS players, electronic games, UPS’s, MP3’s, and PSP’s.
