A sincere thank you to all who helped

Published: Saturday, April 27, 2013 5:00 a.m. CST

Recently I found myself involved in an accident at U.S. 6 and Michael Drive in which my truck was turned onto its roof.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to those individual citizens who came to my aid, especially the two gentlemen who helped me out of my truck while it was upside down.

Additionally, an unknown woman, who I only remember as saying she was a nurse, who helped keep me calm and prevented me from moving to prevent possible harm.

I would also like to thank all of the emergency services whose quick and kind response made the whole situation somehow less traumatic.

It is wonderful to live in a community where people will stop and help one another in times of need or distress.

I know there were many people that stopped and I thank them all. However, in the chaos and confusion of the accident, I can only remember these three who came to my immediate aid.

If you are reading this, please stop by my work at Animal Care Hospital on Liberty Street anytime. I would love the opportunity to meet you and thank you personally.

My sincerest thanks to everyone,
