Lisa McLukie of Springfield, Ill., and Max Thain of Antioch, Ill., exchanged marriage vows on Oct. 7, 2012, at the Patrick C. Haley Mansion in Joliet. The Honorable Judge Robert Marsaglia officiated at the outdoor ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Don and Terry McLuckie of Morris, Ill., and the bridegroom’s parents are Dr. Dennis and Julianne Thain of Antioch, Ill.
Jessica Madigan and Kelsey Hennessy, friends of the bride, served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids included Maegen Duerksen and Katelyn Wilker, cousins of the bride, and Michelle Baillie, Angela Oltman and Dr. Laura Garcia-Rodrigues, friends of the bride.
Best man was Alan Thain, brother of the groom, and groomsmen were Scott McLuckie, brother of the bride; Eric Holst, Francis Gorg III, Michael Dussault, Sean Gower, and Scott Pettenon, friends of the groom.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Patrick C. Haley Mansion.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Coal City High School and a 2011 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington. She is a CPA with Kemper Corporate Services in Chicago.
The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, who graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2011. He is employed with the Human Resources Department at the Crate & Barrel Corporate Office in Chicago.
They traveled to Negril, Jamaica, for their honeymoon, and are residing in Chicago.
