Heartland Bank names trio of retail managers

Turney picked to run Minooka branch

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Heartland Bank and Trust Company has promoted three staff members to retail sales managers.

Managing the Minooka office at 500 Bob Blair Road is Theresa Turney, a staff member since 2007. She has experience as a personal banker and also assistant sales manager.

A volunteer for the Joliet Area Community Hospice, Turney also delivers Meals on Wheels for the local program and is a Grundy County Chamber Ambassador.

She resides in Joliet and has three children.

Anita Ruffing will take the lead at Heartland Bank’s 14429 S. Wallin Dr. office in Plainfield. She has been with the bank since 2000 and has served as the assistant sales manager prior to her promotion.

She is a member of the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce, WYSK (Women You Should Know), and the Plainfield Lions Club, where she received the Lion of the Year Award in 2012.

She is a resident of Shorewood and has one daughter and two grandchildren.

The Aurora office at 1575 Ogden Ave. will be managed by Jaclyn McGee, who recently joined Heartland Bank.

She is involved with the Oswego and Aurora Chambers of Commerce and lives in Plainfield with her husband and son.

These managers will be responsible for developing new business; ensuring value and top-of-the-line service to bank customers; and staffing and development of retail employees.

“Each of these experienced managers is a strong team member and we look forward to their success leading their respective offices,” stated Deanne Conterio, vice president and retail support manager.
