Traffic stop for speeding leads to trio of arrests

A traffic stop for speeding May 6 led to the arrest of three people by Kendall County Sheriff’s police in Oswego.

The driver, an Oswego 17-year-old, was stopped for speeding and driving without tail lights. He was arrested for no valid driver’s license and cited for unlawful number of passengers, no tail lights when driving, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

A passenger, Zaben Tyler Grant, 20, of North Dakota, was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Another passenger, D Shon Marquise Lee, 21, of Montgomery, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of La Salle County for retail theft.
