John Friedle

COAL CITY, Ill. — Mr. John Friedle, long-time resident of Coal City, Ill., died Monday, June 3, 2013, in  Mesa, Ariz., after an extended illness.

He was born Oct. 14, 1934, and spent much of his youth farming just outside of Verona, Ill. John married Nancy Jisa of Coal City on Sept. 19, 1959.

John retired from Amoco Chemical, Channahon, after many years. In 2006, he and Nancy moved to Mesa, Ariz., but made frequent visits to Coal City.

John is preceded in death by his parents, William and Josephine Winship of Verona, Ill., and by his son, Sgt. Michael John Friedle.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy (Jisa) Friedle; two daughters, Marsha Johnsen of Coal City and Mary Friedle of  Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
