Martin Mack

WILMINGTON, Ill. — Mr. Martin Mack, 76, of Wilmington, Ill., passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at his home.

Born Oct. 29, 1936 in Morris, Martin was the son of the late John and Kathryn (Wisnesky) Mack.

He was a veteran of the United State Army.

He was a member of the Operating Engineer’s Union Local #150 in Countryside, Ill., and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #241 in Wilmington.

He had a passion for gardening and birds and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife, Vivian (Cotham) Dungan Mack; sons, Marty (Chris) Mack, Jr. of Custer Park, Ill., David (Beth) Mack of Essex, Ill.,  David (Rosie) Dungan of Tuscon, Ariz., and Chris (Patty) Dungan of Metamora, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Dolores) Mack of Gardner and Melvin (Diane) Mack of Braceville; sisters, Christine (John) Housman of Braidwood, Ann (Tom) Hillis of Wilmington, Charlotte (late Earl) Fatlan of Braceville and Jeannie (Alan) Zlomie of Wilmington; his mother-in-law, Charlotte O’Donnell of Custer Park; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy (Krumweide) Mack; brothers, John Mack, Kenny Mack, Carl Mack and Earl Mack; and sisters, Catherine Flynn and Grace Mack.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes & Crematory. Al Zlomie will officiate.

Interment with military honors will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

The visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 10.
