Nina Callie Feddersen

DWIGHT, Ill. — Mrs. Nina Callie (Holloway) Feddersen, 78, of Dwight, Ill., passed away Friday evening, June 21, 2013, at Morris Hospital.

Her funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Monday, June 24, at Hager Memorial Home, 201 W. Mazon Ave., Dwight, with the Rev. Pat Morton officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m until the time of the service.

Memorials in Nina's name may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.

Nina was born March 19, 1935, in Suches, Ga., the daughter of Clifford and Alluna Akins Holloway. She married George Feddersen Jr. on June 25, 1955, in Gardner, Il.  He preceded her in death on March 12, 1998, after 42 years of marriage together.

She is survived by her sons Craig (Cindy) Feddersen, Rod ( Laura) Feddersen and Tim (Ellen) Feddersen, all of Dwight; a brother, Claxton (Betty) Holloway of Blairsville, Ga.; grandchildren Ryan Feddersen, Alex Feddersen, Stephanie (Brian) Duffy, Glen Troutman, Natalie (Evan) Young, Nicole (Mike) Van Gilder, Kristen (Garret) Tripp, Katy (Jon Trent) Feddersen, and Karly Feddersen; and great-grandchildren Ella Van Gilder, Erica Van Gilder, Dylan Tripp, Brandon Duffy, and Casey Duffy.

Along with her parents and her husband, George, she was preceded in death by her brother, Price Hollowa,y and a grandson, Matthew Feddersen.

Nina was a homemaker who was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Dwight. She loved flowers, gardening, and especially her grandchildren and great -grandchildren.
