Debra A. Bell

Mrs. Debra A. Bell, 52, of Morris, Ill., passed away Monday morning, July 1, 2013, in Morris Hospital.

Born April 13, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Carl and June (Bloomfield) Luck. She was raised and educated in Morris, graduating from Morris High School with the Class of 1979.

On March 14, 1981, Debra married Dave Bell of Morris.

She worked as a waitress in many of the local restaurants and, as of late, was a cook at Park Pointe Morris Senior Living Community in Morris.

Debra enjoyed playing cards, dice and throwing bean bags. She especially enjoyed bingo and loved spending time with her family. She was an avid White Sox Fan and loved her dog, “Gizmo.”

The family is especially grateful for the care given by the doctors and nurses at Morris Hospital, and of Faye Meyers and Neal Spencer.

Surviving is her husband, Dave; four children, Brandon (girlfriend Peyton) of Morris, Chandy (boyfriend Steve) of Naperville, Ill., Brittany (boyfriend Cirk) and Angelite of Morris; two grandchildren, Jayse and Hayden Bell; and one sister, LuAnne (Bob) LaVarier. Many cousins, aunts and uncles also survive.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 5,at the U. C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home in Morris. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am Saturday, July 6, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Debra’s name to an organization of the donor’s choice.
