Price arrested for robbing pharmacy of Hydrocodone

A 21-year-old Minooka woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon for robbing Minooka Pharmacy of a controlled substance.

Bridget L. Price, 21, of Minooka, was arrested, booked and transported to the Grundy County Jail to await a bond hearing, Minooka Police Chief Justin Meyer noted in a press release.  Charges include robbery, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a hypodermic syringe.

At 12:07 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, according to the press release, Minooka Police responded to the report of a robbery at the Minooka Pharmacy, 508 W. Mondamin St., Minooka.

According to the victim, Price passed a note demanding Norco and left the pharmacy with a bottle of Hydrocodone. No weapon were shown during the incident and no injuries were reported.

After the robbery, Meyer noted, Price left on foot and was located south of the pharmacy. A short foot chase occurred, but officers eventually took Price into custody.
