COLLEGE: Lally receives degree from Palmer College

Woman with Morris ties to establish clinic in the Chicago area

Dr. Kelly Marie Lally, D.C., received her chiropractic degree during the June 14, 2013 commencement exercises at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa. Palmer College is the founding college of the chiropractic profession.

Dr. Lally is the daughter of Paul and Susan Lally of Morris. Dr. Kelly currently resides in Chicago, and will be establishing a clinic in the Chicago area.

To qualify for the doctor of chiropractic degree, Dr. Lally completed five academic years of professional study at Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Palmer was established as the first chiropractic college by Daniel David Palmer in 1897.

Two local students named to Dean’s List

AMES, Iowa — Allan Eduardo Sandoval and Nicholas Bryan Terhall, both of Morris, were among more than 6,250 Iowa State University undergraduates named to the 2013 spring semester Dean’s List.

Sandoval is an English major, while Terhall is majoring in Aerospace Engineering.

Students recognized for this honor must have earned a grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale with 12 credit hours of graded course work.
