Keeney nets two degrees from NCC

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Jacey Keeney of Seneca graduated from North Central College in Naperville, Ill., on June 8, 2013.

Keeney earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

She will attend graduate school at Rosalind Franklin University Medical School, where she will study clinical health psychology.

She is the daughter Peggy Keeney and the the late B.J.

Two local students named to Dean’s List

DECATUR, Ill. — Two area students were named to the traditional Dean’s List at Millikin University for spring 2013.

The students are:

• Courtney L. Gallup of Braceville, a junior who attends the Tabor School of Business.

• Courtney C. Burress of Marseilles, a sophomore who attends the College of Fine Arts.

Sajnaj named to Dubuque’s Dean’s List

DUBUQUE, Iowa — Alyssa Sajnaj of Morris was named to the University of Dubuque’s Spring Semester 2013 Academic Dean’s List.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for that semester.
