‘Catechism’ takes on marriage and death

Third installment of Catholicism-based comedies coming to Pontiac

PONTIAC, Ill. — Coming to St. Mary’s Parish on Saturday, Sept. 7,  ’Til Death Do Us Part: Late Nite Catechism 3 is making its way to Pontiac, Ill.

After teaching countless students about the saints, venial sins, limbo and more, Sister is now offering up hilarious lessons on the Sacraments of Marriage and the Last Rites, including her own wacky version of the Newlywed Game.

Classroom participation is a must, so bring along your sweetie and your sense of humor for a session with the country’s feistiest couples counselor.

The performance of ’Til Death Do Us Part: Late Nite Catechism 3 at St. Mary’s Parish Hall in Pontiac will be on Saturday, Sept. 7. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a wine and cheese reception for ticket holders. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $30 each and are available by calling Ron Schulz at (815) 844-5475) or Mick Peterson  at (815) 842-1723. Only advanced tickets will be sold; none will be available at the door.

Concessions, raffle items, and 50/50 drawings will also be available during the intermission.

Late Nite Catechism is being sponsored by St. Mary’s Parish in Pontiac, with all proceeds going to debt incurred by Phase I of the Making Room for God’s People campaign.
