KANKAKEE, Ill. – State Representative Kate Cloonen is inviting area residents to her satellite office hours at Coal City’s Village Hall, 515 S. Broadway, Coal City, from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Aug. 26.
“The 79th District spans across three counties and, as state representative, I believe it is important to be accessible to all constituents,” Cloonen said. “These satellite office hours will help bring the services my office offers to people that may not otherwise be able to make it to my full-time constituent service office in downtown Kankakee.”
Representative Cloonen’s satellite office hours will be held in the Coal City Village Hall board room. Constituents who wish to speak to Cloonen privately regarding help that they may need with a state issue are encouraged to attend.
In addition to hosting “Coffee with Kate”throughout the district and going door to door to hear from residents, these satellite office hours provide an additional outlet for Representative Cloonen to meet with the communities across the district.
“In order to best understand the issues that are important to the district and help the people I represent, it’s essential for me to reach out to the community, as well as offer a variety of ways for my constituents to reach me,” Cloonen said. “I encourage residents of Grundy County to take advantage of these satellite office hours and look forward to hosting more.”
