WILMINGTON, Ill. — Mr. Kenneth M. Surman, 81, of Wilmington, Ill., passed away on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at his home.
He was born on Dec. 17, 1931, in Chester, Ill., to the late Mark and Mary Surman.
Mr. Surman was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and was employed for 30 years at Caterpillar Joliet.
He is survived by his son, Rodney L. Surman (Cheryl); two grandchildren, Stephanie (Brad) Lowery and Adam Surman; two great-grandchildren, Kylinn and Colby Lowery; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol; and four brothers, Gerald, Leonard, Pete, and Ronald Surman.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Ferrari Funeral Services, 1044 Ferrari Dr., Coal City. Interment will be private.
