MCHS announces cast for 'Peter Pan'

Morris Community High School has announced the cast for J.M. Barrie’s classic tale, “Peter Pan,” the school’s 2013 fall musical. The cast includes more than 40 MCHS students, as well as students from area elementary and middle schools.

Junior Austin Allbert will play Peter Pan, the boy who refused to grow up. Mr. and Mrs. Darling are played by seniors Eric Sapsford and Carol Marie Gaska, respectively. The rest of the Darling family includes Wendy, played by senior Alyssa Rogers; John, played by freshman Dylan Obrochta; and Michael, played by fifth-grader Nicholas Russell. Tinkerbell is played by senior Robbi Hicks. 

Leading the band of pirates is Captain Hook, played by senior Kirsten Bridgemen. Her trusty assistant Smee is portrayed by senior Lukas Terhall. Other pirates include Angel Algarin as Cecco, Lexie Sievert as Jukes, Madison Colasanti as Cookson, Arielle Robinson as Starkey, Jennifer Ashley as Mullins and Tiffany Day as Noodler. Other pirates include Janelle Gaska, Maggie Dudley, Taylor Breyman, Anja Huettemann, Joah Beal and Elizabeth Smith.

Peter Pan leads the Lost Boys who live in Neverland. Lost Boys include Makayla Zorn as Slightly, Jessica Carey as Tootles, Cole Enervold as Nibs, Adam Roseland as Curly, Holly Gainer as First Twin, Haleigh Zorn as Second Twin and Justine Boggs as Omnes. Other Lost Boys are Sam Mateski, Johnathan White, Syd Trotter, Keaton Auwerda, Ava Trotter, Megan Feldges, Jillian Hosek and Ana White.

Tiger Lily leads the dancing tribe of Indians. Tiger Lily is portrayed by sophomore Alexa Rain. Her second in command is Panther, played by freshman Olivia Thorson. Other Indians are Ciara Gallo, Carrington Herman, Emma Vota, Macy Shell, Olivia Drumm, Grace Peacock, Kedzie Auwerda, Molly Gustafson, Kristin Serena, Mackenzie Enger, Caelyn Goffinet and Addison Sanders.

Peter Pan opens Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.. Other performances are 1 and 7 p.m. Oct. 26; and 2 p.m. Oct. 27. All tickets are $5 and can be bought at the Morris Community High School office or by emailing

Children are also invited to a Peter Pan Party at noon Oct. 27. The party will include trick-or-treating with the cast, games, crafts and fun. A cost will be involved to attend the party. More information on the party will be coming soon.
