Stay Tuned String Band and Trillium will perform at the historical Maple Street Chapel in Lombard on Oct. 6. The concert will benefit the 25th annual Gebhard Woods Dulcimer and Traditional Music Festival.
Stay Tuned String Band aims for harmony both on and off stage. It performs soprano, alto, tenor and bass singing. For more than a dozen years, it has performed folk, old-time and gospel music in venues across the region.
An acoustic music quartet located in the far west suburbs of Chicago, Trillium performs an eclectic repertoire – ranging in style from Celtic and folk to ragtime, swing and bluegrass – appealing to all ages and most musical tastes. Trillium is well known in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin venues.
All proceeds will benefit the Gebhard Woods Dulcimer and Traditional Music Festival held in Morris each year.
The concert is sponsored by WDCB 90.9 FM and HANDS of Illinois, with special thanks to Paul Zimmerman and Maple Street Chapel, who are donating the venue for the event.
Tickets are on sale for $15, or two for $25, at the door or on PayPal at www.GebhardDulcimer.org.
