Library to hold driver

safety program

The Morris Area Public Library will hold an AARP-sponsored driver safety program from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 5 with a lunch break. Lunch will not be provided.

The cost is $12 for AARP cardholders and $14 for non-AARP cardholders.

Cars have changed and so have traffic rules, driving conditions and the roads you travel every day. Some drivers who are age 50 or older have never looked back since they got their first driver’s licenses, but even the most experienced drivers can benefit from brushing up on their driving skills.

By taking a driver safety course, participants will learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate a vehicle more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment.

Call 815 942-6880 to register or stop into the library.

The Morris Area Public Library is located at 604 Liberty St.
