The Grundy County Historical Society is offering a presentation at 7 p.m. Tuesday on White Women Captured by Indians in Early America.
The program will be presented by Ellen Hanson, a Morris lawyer, who with her husband John attend Rendezvous presented by the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association. Part of the experience of Rendezvous is reading and learning about the early history of America and the interaction of settlers, the French, the British and the Indian. Hanson is not a historian but will introduce attendees to many of the books written about these women.
The program will be at the Morris Library, 604 Liberty St.
