Children selected will be taken to Walmart on Dec. 14, where they will shop with a police officer, according to a news release from Seneca police.

The event will start at 8 a.m. with breakfast. After shopping, participants will come back to the police station where kids will be served lunch.

After lunch, they will wrap their presents assisted by officers and dispatchers.
