The Seneca Grade School South Campus October student of the month is Taylor Vroman, the daughter of Joyce and Eric Vroman. Taylor has two sisters, Heather, 15, and Amber 10.
Her school activities include jazz band, track, math team, Scholastic Bowl and Afterthought (after-school chorus), art, softball, chorus, band and science club. Outside of school Taylor enjoys playing her horn in the Illinois Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra, performing in the summer musical “Flat Stanley,” and studying French horn under NIU Adjunct Professor Kate Swope.
Some of her personal interests are reading, playing her French horn and trumpet, doing science experiments and cooking.
