Michelle E. Stuckey-Grogg

Michelle E. Stuckey-Grogg, 42, of Morris, Ill., passed away early Saturday morning, Nov. 16, 2013, at the Morris Hospital.

Born Oct. 27, 1971, in Morris, she was the daughter of the late Owen Stuckey and Cindy (Cain) Carlson. Michelle was raised and educated in Morris, graduating from Morris High School, Class of 1989. She married Herbert Grogg on Dec. 12, 2009.

Michelle was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking, music and all things “Bling.” She also enjoyed spending time with her five children, her two grandchildren and her beloved pets.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Herbert Grogg; her mother and stepfather, Cindy and Jerry Carlson of Morris; her stepmother, Gail Stuckey of Morris; four daughters and one son, Megan (Aric Rohlfing) Stuckey of Morris, Dani (Daniel Campbell) Malfatti of Morris, DeAnna (Henry Rogers) Grogg and Connie Grogg, both of Joliet, Ill., and Herbie Grogg of Morris; one granddaughter, Mallorie Grogg; one grandson, Ethan Fonck; and one brother, Marcus (Susie) Stuckey of Morris.

Michelle also is survived by her maternal grandmother, Norma Cridge of Morris; her paternal grandmother, Wilma Stuckey of Morris; her nieces and nephews, Damon, Trevor, Samara and Olivia Stuckey; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Owen Stuckey, in 2011; her grandfathers, Donald Cain, John Stuckey and Earl Cridge; and her mother-in-law, Chris “Gram” Grogg.

A visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at the U.C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home, 301 W. Washington St., Morris. A celebration of Michelle’s life will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, also at U.C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Amenda officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded.
