Indictments

Grundy County State’s Attorney Jason Helland announced Wednesday the grand jury returned the following indictments. The public is advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• Eric Bunge, 49, of Dallas, Ore., was indicted for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, a Class 3 felony, and the unlawful possession of more than 30 but less than 500 grams of cannabis, a Class 4 felony.

• Jacob Conley, 22, of Gardner, was indicted for burglary, a Class 2 felony.

• David Corbin, 26, of New Haven, Mich., was indicted for unlawful cannabis trafficking, a Class X felony; the unlawful possession of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis with the intent to deliver, a Class X felony; and the unlawful possession of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis, a Cass 1 felony.

• Mitchell Ortelli, 19, of Minooka, was indicted for aggravated battery to an emergency medical technician, a class 3 felony; and unlawful possession of clonazepam, a Class 4 felony.

• Sergio Rivera-Valenzuela, 29, of Morris, was indicted for driving while driver’s license is revoked, a Class 4 felony.

• Jeffrey Scott Smith, 30, of Charleston, W.Va., was indicted for the unlawful possession of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis with the intent to deliver, a Class X felony; and the unlawful possession of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis, a Class 1 felony.

• Ich Minh Nguyen Tran, 26, of Fort Collins, Colo., was indicted for the unlawful possession of more than 2,000 but less than 5,000 grams of cannabis, a Class 2 felony.

• Jeremy Turner, 26, of South Wilmington, was indicted for burglary, a Class 2 felony.
