MORRIS – Morris Building & Loan presented the Morris Redskins football team and the Morris High School Quarterback Club with a check for $500. This check was the result of touchdowns scored at each of the Morris Redskins home football games.
Morris Building & Loan committed to pay the Quarterback Club $25 for each of the Morris Redskins touchdowns during a home game, according to a news release from the bank.
“We started this tradition a few years ago – and we are glad we did it again,” Kim Brown, branch manager of Morris Building & Loan, said in the news release. “With a good season and effort from the team, we were able to donate $500 to the club this year. We look forward to partnering with them again in the 2014 season.”
