MORRIS – As a result of a Nov. 18 on-site visit by a team under the direction of the Illinois State Board of Education, Immaculate Conception School has been assigned the recognition status of Fully Recognized for the 2013-14 school year, according to a news release from the school.
Continued recognition during the next few years is based on the annual completion of an online application. The school extends its thanks to the staff, students and the state visitation team for their work in making the achievement possible, according to the news release.
Immaculate Conception School has provided a Catholic education for Morris-area students for more than 115 years, according to its website.
