Published: Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 5:30 a.m. CDT

OTTAWA – Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating (SSHE), the premier meal replacement company in the country, is pleased to introduce its new, supervised weight loss and wellness program with a free, informational meeting Monday.

The meeting was rescheduled from this week because of dangerous weather conditions.

It is rescheduled to 5 p.m. Monday at its company headquarters located at 611 E. Stevenson Road in Ottawa.

The new program is lead by local registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator, Rene Ficek, who will teach and support the group through a 12-week weight loss program. Each week, a new topic will be covered, including subjects such as myths and facts, weight loss maintenance, physical activity, fats and the ABCs of changing behavior.

Those interested in the program should contact SSHE at 800-442-3438 to learn more or to register for the weight loss program.

“Our new 12-week program is designed to help people jump start weight loss, while teaching successful tools to keep it off for good,” Ficek said in a news release. “This is about making a positive, healthy lifestyle change, not a fad diet.”

Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating is a family-owned, Illinois-based healthy meal replacement company that offers convenient, healthy eating nationwide, according to the release.

The meal program is scientifically designed and taste-tested.

Founded by Seattle Sutton, RN, BSN, in 1985, SSHE helps to address patients’ desire to lose weight and improve overall health.

SSHE prepares thousands of fresh meals weekly and its innovative approach has helped thousands of people achieve and maintain weight loss without planning, shopping or cooking for themselves.
