MORRIS – My Father’s House of Prayer of Morris will have a new senior pastor starting Feb. 16.

The church announced this week its calling of a new senior pastor – Jon Nebbeling. He is currently a pastor at Life Church in St. Charles.

Nebbeling will be installed as the new pastor of the church Feb. 16, at the 10 a.m. service.

The church is currently meeting in the community room of the third floor of First Midwest Bank, 220 W. Main St. in Morris.

All are invited to come to the service and to hear Nebbeling speak. He is married to Heidi Nebbeling and has two daughters – Trinity, 15, and Mattie, 11. Heidi is currently a worship leader at Life Church.

Nebbeling is replacing the Rev. Rick Barnard, who has been the pastor of the church for 18 years and who is retiring from that position Feb. 16.

After the service, there will be a meal to celebrate the occasion.

For information, call Barnard at 815-942-2786.
